Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-10-14.

This policy describes the site as built; review it before launch.

The short version

SiegeRadar has no accounts and never asks for a password. It has no analytics or ads at the moment. It keeps a cache of public player stats and a list of looked-up player names. Your favorites stay in your own browser.

What the server stores

  • A cache of stats. When you look up a player, the server saves the public stats it received in a SQLite database so repeat visits are fast. These are public player stats, not information about you.
  • A list of looked-up players. When a player page loads successfully, the server saves the player name, the platform and the time. This list powers the Recently searched section on the home page and the site's sitemap. It does not record who made the lookup.

IP addresses

To limit how many lookups one visitor can make, the server reads your IP address from request headers and counts lookups per address in memory. These counts are not written to the database and are lost when the server restarts. Your hosting provider may keep its own access logs, which are outside this site's code.

Favorites

If you save a player as a favorite, the list is kept in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to the server. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Accounts, passwords and cookies

There are no accounts and no sign-in. The site's own code does not set cookies, and it does not use cookies for tracking. If that changes, this page will be updated.

Analytics and ads

The site currently runs no analytics and no advertising. If that changes, this policy will say so.

Third parties

  • Arenyze API. When we need fresh data, the server asks the Arenyze API for the player's public stats. The request contains the player name and platform that was looked up. Your IP address is not part of that request from this site's code.
  • Fonts. Fonts are loaded through Next.js and are served from this site, so your browser does not contact Google to get them.

Removing a name from Recently searched

To have a player name removed, contact us with the platform and the exact name. On request we remove the name from Recently searched and from the sitemap, and block it from being added back. Cached stats are marked out of date after 10 minutes and replaced the next time the player is looked up. Until then the last copy is kept and may be shown if the stats service is unavailable.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too. Questions? Use the contact page.
